LAUNCHING SPECIAL: $695

The exams can be conducted at our coffee training centre in Bellbowrie (West Brisbane), OR we can come to your venue to do the assessment on your equipment (South East Queensland only - please contact us first to inform us your exact location and the equipment you have)

Assessment Process

PART 1 - INTRODUCTION

15-30 mins

• Video Meeting: we’ll call you to ensure your prepared for the exams

PART 2 - PRACTICAL EXAM

Held on Wednesday’s at 7pm (approx 60 mins)

• To pass the practical exam you must demonstrate the ability to plan & manipulate extraction levels for well balanced Espresso, accurately evaluate and describe sensations, free-pour Latte Art patterns with high level of consistency and perform basic maintenance and part replacement on coffee equipment

PART 3 - WRITTEN EXAM

Held on Wednesday’s at 8pm (approx 60 mins)

• You will be given 45 minutes to successfully answer the 34 questions. The passing score is 80% (27 correct answers)

PART 4 - CERTIFICATE

• SCA will review your exams and email you within 2 weeks a link to your certificate.
