This class is for those that aspire to go above and beyond the standard work of a Barista. It is designed to prepare you to manage an espresso bar, create menus and oversee cost of goods, and lead a team of baristas.
You will also be learning advanced equipment maintenance techniques as well as how to replace wear and tare parts of coffee machines and grinders.
This class is ideal for;
A Barista that has been working for 3 months or more and wants to learn the science of espresso extraction and develop skills for managing it consistently
Someone interested in developing the skill to accurately identify and describe sensations for espresso (sensory evaluation)
A coffee professional that wants the SCA Coffee Diploma
Someone that wants to know how to maintain coffee equipment
Anyone that wants to know how to lead a team and or manage a Cafe
Course Details
3pm to 8pm on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
The course is held over 3 afternoons in our coffee training centre in Brisbane
Everything is provided for you, you don’t need to bring anything
